PlashMill Press for Authors
PlashMill Press will consider any
work of fiction or non-fiction, either full-length books or shorter
pieces for compilation. This includes prose, poetry, plays and songs
as well as collections of written music. We welcome humour and works
of interest to children. We are especially interested in work that is:
written by a Scottish author; written by a writer living in Scotland;
is about Scotland in any way, e.g. history, geography, lifestyle, culture,
sport, tradition.
We will consider material written
in English and in Scots. We hope to be able to offer authors writing
in Gaelic the chance to publish with us in the near future. If your
project is in Gaelic please make this clear and we will do our best
to assist. (If you are a Gaelic speaker interested in working with us

We cannot at present consider Fine
Art books, i.e. books of paintings, photography or other visual arts.
